Full Tilt Poker unveils new “Durrrr Challenge” Info page

Posted under fulltilt poker & online poker & online poker rooms & poker & poker celebrities & poker room & poker rooms

Online poker site Full Tilt Poker has just unveiled an innovative informative section involving all the facts of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an amazing online heads up poker tournament presenting some of the most talented big money online players challenging the poker sensation Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The innovative new website offers online poker players and followers the opportunity to follow this amazing internet poker challenge and receive frequent statistical updates. With this new “durrrr Challenge” section poker players can view all the details and review each hand played during durrrr Challenge, and check out lots of statistics, including how many hands were played, session time, amount won, average won during each hand and lots more.

Close to six months ago, the 23 year old online poker professional dealt out a heads-up poker challenge open to any player with the cash, time and ability to accept it. Any player entering the Full Tilt durrrr challenge has to put up $500,000 against Tom’s $1.5 million. Dwan’s challenge specifies that at least 50,000 poker hands need to be played at the same time at 4 or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the heads up challenge, the player who has more cash will win the pool. Essentially if you enter the durrrr challenge and win $1 after the 50,000 hands, then you will take home Tom’s $1.5 Million, but if he wins by $1 then he will take your $500,000.

So far, a few poker players have consented to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, yet, only Patrick Antonius has said yes to the durrrr challenge. At this point, both players have participated in a total of 20,647 poker hands out of 50,000, with durrrr up by $726,546 total.

Is Shooting your Mouth Off in Texas Hold’Em a Good Idea?

Posted under poker players & poker tables & professional poker

poker tips
Certainly the most loathed individuals at the no limit Texas Hold’em poker table the majority of times will constantly be the bragger. You know the person I’m speaking of. He’s the player that finds a seat at the poker table and makes clear you’re conscious that he desires all of your no-limit Texas Hold’em chips; parting the no limit Texas Hold’em poker table with the very same mind-set that he arrived with. Even if the guy gets killed, he has the idea that he is the best Texas Hold’em player in the world.

As the better part of Texas Hold’em players would preferably avoid opponents of this kind, there are other people who would argue that bragging may have its rewards. So, the big doubt is: Is there truly something like an accomplished poker attention-seeker or false Texas Hold’em bragger? Bragging about how skilled you are in no limit Texas Hold’em poker is essentially just like saying: “I’m the greatest Texas Hold’em player you’ll ever see, don’t forget to be on the ball while you’re sitting in a poker game against me!” That is almost certain to be the most awful vibe you are going to want to give off playing Texas Hold’em. What’s more, sharing too much about your Texas Hold’em playing manner can be unfavorable to your poker game. You definitely do not want these folks to get a clue about how you bet on certain no-limit Texas Hold’em hands.

What is more there are those Texas Hold’em Poker opponents who could exploit show-boating as a style of poker trick, or bluff. Bragging when you are dealt a specific no limit Texas Hold’em poker hand may throw your opponents for a loop and stump them about your no limit Texas Hold’em poker playing technique. There are a few people who might deem this tactic a bit sneaky, but it is important to not forget that there aren’t many regulations against it in poker. Texas Hold’em Poker is all about doing the best with what you’re dealt and exploiting it to the fullest.

Online Texas Hold’em Investigation Story will be presented on Television

Posted under poker players & poker regulations & poker room

poker scandal
Sunday night the CBS network will present their investigation special “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This special program was made after a four-month research into the online poker business and particularly a scam involving the online Texas Hold’em poker page Absolute Poker.

This poker webpage was probed after a few of the Texas Hold’em poker players on the website alleged that someone was unduly winning a great amount of poker hands. Todd Witteles was a significant player in this research, according to Witteles; he was losing incredibly large amounts of money to the exact same Texas Hold’em player. Witteles declared that this player was raising against exceptionally good hands, most people would have assumed he was just giving out his money, but he was unbelievably earning tons of chips.

Witteles was correct about his suppositions, it was later shown that a player who knew about the site was able to view everyone´s poker hole cards. At first glance, Absolute Poker stated that there were no faults with the room or the Texas Hold’em poker competitor. After many more players showed up with allegations, the poker page explored deeper into the problem and discovered wrongdoing.

Around Jan. of this year, the gaming commission discovered what the Texas Hold’em poker players and the Texas Hold’em poker page had suspected all the time. It was eventually shown that, there was an employee who had attacked the Texas Hold’em poker webpage’s security system and was playing illegally for close to a month and a half. The study proved that the poker page had not gained from the unlawful behavior in any way, and was in no way, shape or form engaged in the activities.

These scams are further confirmation that there should be more guidelines regarding online poker sites. The US government needs to authorize and legalize the internet gambling industry to guard these honorable customers. These laws would also police the admission to these gambling webpages by children, which is becoming another issue nowadays.

Posted under internet poker & online gambling & poker

poker stars
If you were to have a conversation with any ordinary guy or girl off the street about Texas Hold’em poker, they almost certainly wouldn’t consider Texas Hold’em poker to be a game of tactics, careful planning, or observation. Most likely when you point out poker with them, they would perhaps picture some friends lounging around their kitchen table chatting and smoking cigars. They also could believe Texas Hold’em to be a game of fate as opposed to ability, closer to a game of blackjack and not a game of skill, for example.

So the big issue you may have is: “Can I make money playing Texas Hold’em?”. It may come as a surprise to you but, people actually do earn a living by playing poker. More than a few people not just make a profit by playing online Texas Hold’em, but also make a lot of money by competing in Texas Hold’em. The main issue you need to remember about Texas Hold’em poker is that while you can play in a Vegas casino, close to roulette tables and casino slots; in poker you are not contending against the house but against other online Texas Hold’em rivals. So, in truth, you are betting your poker chips against other competitors in a game of aptitude as opposed to a game of fate.

You could be thinking to yourself: “Isn’t the game of poker about luck too?” Of course in poker, nobody knows which hands will be dealt. That doesn’t imply that one cannot play Texas Hold’em poker with a clear quantity of pre-tournament knowledge. One major thing to remember in online poker is that numbers can be your best friend. Math has a vital role in the game of Texas Hold’em poker. Not forgetting, that even if you get a little fortunate time and again the numbers always seem to bring you back down to earth.

Don’t forget that LV casino table games such as poker where you are essentially playing against other actual competitors CAN be won. One will find that the more you play the game of online Texas Hold’em, you will realize that it is more of game of talent and not just natural luck.

Shunning Disturbances while playing Online Poker

Posted under fulltilt poker & online casinos & online gambling

poker
The advantages of Full Tilt Poker opposed to real poker rooms are endless, but with these rewards there are also several difficulties. Online poker allows regular amateur players the possibility to try their luck in professional poker tournaments with poker champs, but these recreational poker players need to steer clear of any interruptions that may hurt their prospects to gain an advantage.

The majority of online Texas Holdem players become sidetracked by their environment, or maybe by the internet poker website they are playing on. These diversions can certainly cost them great poker hands and probably their well-deserved poker chips. The game of Texas Holdem is a game of talent not to mention total attentiveness, no matter if you are playing online poker, or in an actual brick and mortar casino.

Almost certainly, the principal slip that online poker players commit is by competing in more than one online poker room at a time. The majority of amateur online Texas Holdem poker players will believe that this is a good thought, but at the end of it all it could possibly workout to be a drawback. This system of playing numerous poker tables at once will hurt your attention and finally cost you money. Remember that even the greatest poker players out there will commit costly mistakes when concentrating their attention on several internet poker tables at the same time.

Any given online poker player, may at any point, find themselves playing various online Texas Holdem tables at one time, at the same time as they are watching the news, reading their preferred website, talking on the phone to friends etc. This is a situation which is supposed to be avoided if you wish to win satellite games and qualify for big Full Tilt Poker tournaments. Keep in mind to direct your mind on the other online Texas Holdem poker player’s bets, their aim, and your own internet poker hands if you really want to become an expert poker player.
