Online poker site Full Tilt Poker has just unveiled an innovative informative section involving all the facts of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an amazing online heads up poker tournament presenting some of the most talented big money online players challenging the poker sensation Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The innovative new website offers online poker players and followers the opportunity to follow this amazing internet poker challenge and receive frequent statistical updates. With this new “durrrr Challenge” section poker players can view all the details and review each hand played during durrrr Challenge, and check out lots of statistics, including how many hands were played, session time, amount won, average won during each hand and lots more.

Close to six months ago, the 23 year old online poker professional dealt out a heads-up poker challenge open to any player with the cash, time and ability to accept it. Any player entering the Full Tilt durrrr challenge has to put up $500,000 against Tom’s $1.5 million. Dwan’s challenge specifies that at least 50,000 poker hands need to be played at the same time at 4 or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the heads up challenge, the player who has more cash will win the pool. Essentially if you enter the durrrr challenge and win $1 after the 50,000 hands, then you will take home Tom’s $1.5 Million, but if he wins by $1 then he will take your $500,000.

So far, a few poker players have consented to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, yet, only Patrick Antonius has said yes to the durrrr challenge. At this point, both players have participated in a total of 20,647 poker hands out of 50,000, with durrrr up by $726,546 total.

poker scandal
Sunday night the CBS network will present their investigation special “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This special program was made after a four-month research into the online poker business and particularly a scam involving the online Texas Hold’em poker page Absolute Poker.

This poker webpage was probed after a few of the Texas Hold’em poker players on the website alleged that someone was unduly winning a great amount of poker hands. Todd Witteles was a significant player in this research, according to Witteles; he was losing incredibly large amounts of money to the exact same Texas Hold’em player. Witteles declared that this player was raising against exceptionally good hands, most people would have assumed he was just giving out his money, but he was unbelievably earning tons of chips.

Witteles was correct about his suppositions, it was later shown that a player who knew about the site was able to view everyone´s poker hole cards. At first glance, Absolute Poker stated that there were no faults with the room or the Texas Hold’em poker competitor. After many more players showed up with allegations, the poker page explored deeper into the problem and discovered wrongdoing.

Around Jan. of this year, the gaming commission discovered what the Texas Hold’em poker players and the Texas Hold’em poker page had suspected all the time. It was eventually shown that, there was an employee who had attacked the Texas Hold’em poker webpage’s security system and was playing illegally for close to a month and a half. The study proved that the poker page had not gained from the unlawful behavior in any way, and was in no way, shape or form engaged in the activities.

These scams are further confirmation that there should be more guidelines regarding online poker sites. The US government needs to authorize and legalize the internet gambling industry to guard these honorable customers. These laws would also police the admission to these gambling webpages by children, which is becoming another issue nowadays.
