Many casinos and card rooms have sold their chips to dealers for resale to the public once those chips are no longer being used. Some casinos will retire a set and replace it with new, some close, and some never open at all. These chips are the best you can get. Most casino chip manufacturers don’t sell to the general public.
The chips listed here have all made it to the secondary market and are bought or traded between collectors around the world.
